UCCE Prescribed Fire on Private Lands – Sutter Creek

These one-day workshops (choose either Sonora or Sutter Creek) are designed for landowners and managers looking to gain skills in prescribed fire planning and implementation.

A follow up one day field trip will be held at UC Berkeley’s Blodgett Research Forest in Georgetown (El Dorado County) during the last week of October. Participants will tour lands actively managed with  prescribed fire and take part in a prescribed fire, permit and weather allowing.
